Lazure is good for the soul

The call of the wild lazure spirit in my house could not be ignored any longer and I've taken up the gauntlet.

Quotations Book

"Fine art, that exists for itself alone, is art in a final state of impotence. If nobody, including the artist, acknowledges art as a means of knowing the world, then art is relegated to a kind of rumpus room of the mind and the irresponsibility of the artist and the irrelevance of art to actual living becomes part and parcel of the practice of art.."

Welcome to my blog

Welcome to my blog!

Glad you're here. I hope you enjoy what I've posted and visit often. I have changed the direction of the blog to reflect current personal and global concerns, and whatever else of interest that crosses my path....

I also want to say that I have been posting less and less and less often, which seems to work better. There are so many other blogs of note with more substantial writing than I can maintain at this point.

In my effort to keep it real, I'll take out some of the exclamative and "cutsey" stuff also.
